On 02/23/2025 I (Deputy Heyward) responded to a Domestic Violence call @ [3500 BLOCK] Lighthouse Cove. When I arrived on scene I spoke with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] explained her ex -boyfriend Christian Whitehead, had just assaulted her prior to LEO arriving on scene. [VICTIM #1] stated her Christian began to argue because he suspected her of cheating on him with her ex boyfriend. [VICTIM #1] stated her ex-boyfriend from years had recently contacted her and Christian saw the message and began to antagonize [VICTIM #1] about it. [VICTIM #1] and Christian were coming from [VICTIM #1] friend’s house [REDACTED]. While on the way home [VICTIM #1] stated Christian punched her in the face. They continued to argue when they arrived at the residence. Christian then assaulted [VICTIM #1] by choking her and punching her even more.
During the incident [VICTIM #1] stated she was in immediate fear of her life. Furthermore she said Christian said “Die fat bi*ch” while strangling her. Pictures of the incident were taken and uploaded to Axon evidence. After brutality beating [VICTIM #1] leaving strangulation scars on her neck and black and blue scars on her face and a bloody scar on her right knee, Christian then stole her vehicle and fled the scene prior to LEO arriving. [VICTIM #1] has a AirTag located in the vehicle which enabled LEO to track the suspect to [80 BLOCK] Milton avenue southeast where the vehicle was located, unoccupied with no keys inside. I coordinated with APD officer Cj Maldonado to make contact which with the vehicle. The vehicle was towed by South Metro towing. [VICTIM #1] as informed that her vehicle was located and advised on the proper course of action to obtain possession of her vehicle. Christian will be charged with OCGA 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault.
